Ingredients
1 x head broccoli florets
1 x punnet asparagus
1 tsp grated ginger
2 cloves chopped garlic
1 finely sliced red chilli
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp soy/tamari sauce
1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Method
- Preheat a pan on the stove to hot, and add the oils
- Add the broccoli and asparagus – be careful, because this will spit
- Allow the veg to char slightly (about 5 seconds, if your pan is hot enough) and then turn
- Add the chilli, garlic and ginger
- Stir fry for 2-3 minutes then add the soy sauce
- Continue to stir fry for another minute
- Serve on a dish, topped with the sesame seeds
- This dish is great served hot as part of a bowl, it also makes for a great salad when served cold.
